Research summary
Housing is an important determinant of health, and we tend to underestimate the extent of indoor environmental issues in both U.S. and global housing. The authors find in this paper—highlighting one of the Healthy Cities Lab’s collaborative projects—that 79% of U.S. households had at least one environmental risk factor in the home.
