The Bloomberg Center for Cities seeks a senior leader to build and strengthen Harvard’s pipeline into city government. This role connects cities looking for strong emerging talent with students looking for meaningful public service opportunities. Reporting to the Director for Conferences and Events, and working closely with faculty and center leadership, this position will manage and lead the development, planning, and execution of high-profile events and convenings; partner with faculty and scholars to translate academic objectives into compelling event experiences; and manage planning, logistics, production, and technical execution for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
Data-Smart City Solutions is seeking an Events Coordinator to manage the Responsive Cities Network convenings, including in-person build sprints, demo days, fellow workshops, mayoral meetings, and community-facing sessions. This position will ensure that convenings are highly organized and well-executed and that participants’ experience is of the highest quality. This is a position with an appointment end date 90 days from date of hire, with a 22-hour week with some additional hours required in September.
