Program Coordinator, Executive Education

This position specifically supports the programs for the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative which includes multiple executive education courses for mayors, their senior staff and other city roles. Working closely with a team, you will provide critical support in the delivery of the BHCLI portfolio of programing both on-site (MA and NY) and online before, during, and after each program session. We seek collaborative, adaptable candidates who love the details of planning programs and events, are driven by working with others on a fast-paced team, and excited about having an impact on our world by supporting city leaders!

Research Associate

Professor Matthew Lee is seeking a full-time Research Associate for one year or more. This role is a particularly good fit for candidates seeking to pursue a PhD or other research in the management of organizations, whether in a school of public policy, business school, or disciplinary department (i.e., sociology, economics). In this role, you will work closely with Professor Lee and his collaborators at the Harvard Kennedy School. The candidate will be responsible for data collection and analysis, writing and editing, and research coordination.

Research Associate, The People Lab

This position is ideal for motivated college graduates with prior research experience who are interested in getting more in-depth training in applied research. Research Associates support multiple fast-paced projects at a time, under the guidance of senior research staff. Responsibilities may include data cleaning and analysis literature reviews, and supporting the manuscript preparation, as well as direct interaction with government partners to co-design and evaluate interventions using randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Senior Associate, Admin and Finance

This position supports work of initiatives, programs, labs, staff and faculty across the Bloomberg Center for Cities. The position will manage and execute a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of the center and its programs.

Senior Director, Collaborations, Bloomberg Center for Cities

The Senior Director will be responsible for the planning, development, oversight and execution of the center-wide strategy related to developing collaborations and a community across Harvard University and beyond. Leading a team of four direct reports, the Senior Director will be responsible for organizing activities that advance research and exchange ideas that help city leaders make change in practice.

Senior Program Director for City Support and Student Engagement

The Senior Program Director leads a team of colleagues who provide programmatic support for mayors and senior city government officials as well as programs and fellowships that place Harvard students in city halls around the world. The Senior Program Director provides vision and leadership in partnership with Harvard team members, faculty, and students, and Bloomberg Philanthropies and other collaborators, in the design and delivery of these high-impact programs.

Senior Research Associate, The People Lab

This position is ideal for candidates with a graduate degree or a college graduate with 3+ years of experience designing and executing the implementation of research projects. The Senior Research Associate will work on many fast-paced projects simultaneously, and be involved in all aspects of projects including: project scoping and design, communication with government partners, field visits, developing and implementing project timelines, conducting statistical and econometric analysis, executing research administration responsibilities, and producing policy-relevant and academically-relevant publications. Experience with conducting field experiments strongly preferred.
