Research Team Summer Associate
Project Description:
Reporting to the Director of Research, the Summer Associate will principally work on a capstone research project that builds on the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative’s work in the area of innovation and leadership. The Summer Associate may also be asked to carry out ad hoc tasks related to other ongoing research projects.
Tasks and Deliverables:
- Support the design of a survey to local government leaders who seek to promote innovation in their home organizations.
- Help with the identification of survey participants (i.e., leaders of public-sector innovation) in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Oceania.
- Support fielding of survey.
- Depending on timing, support with processing survey response data.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Analytic thinker with sensitivity to detail coupled with ability to discern trends and patterns
- Excellent English-language writing skills
- Survey design skills or other training on index and scale development (highly preferred)
- Spanish-language proficiency (preferred)
Compensation: $21-$25/hour
