Mayoral Time Study Summer Associate
Project Description:
How do mayors and their schedulers “triage” competing commitments? This is the animating question of a new time-study research project being led by Professor Matthew Lee. The Summer Associate will play a key role in advancing this research. Specifically, we are looking for a highly motivated and capable project manager during a crucial period of data collection.
Tasks and Deliverables:
- Schedule meetings with mayors and executive staff.
- Develop and manage interview guides.
- Participate in and transcribe interviews.
- Liaise with city staff to transfer data.
- Manage and analyze data.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using Excel to organize and analyze data
- Experience with interview transcription (preferred)
Compensation: $21-$25/hour
