About

Ram’s prior experience includes work with over 15 national nonprofits, community development groups, and other local organizations. He has partnered with the Biden transition team to increase representation in political appointments, published an international reporting project with the Pulitzer Center focusing on deported U.S. immigrant veterans, written federal policy briefs on equitable access to higher education, and worked with the Google News Initiative to combat misinformation campaigns in Spanish-speaking communities.

At the Bloomberg Center for Cities, Ram works with the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, where he is supporting the creation of an equity leadership research portfolio and the further development of a Municipal Chief Equity Officer learning community. Ram holds a minor in medical Spanish from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, an associate’s degree in interdisciplinary sciences from South Texas College, and a Bachelor of Arts in peace and conflict studies, educational studies, and medical anthropology from Swarthmore College. He is currently pursuing an Ed.M in leadership, organizations, and entrepreneurship at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
