Clarisa Salinas first became interested in public health by serving at a federally qualified health center during the COVID-19 pandemic. She later transitioned into health department work where she engaged in statewide programmatic oversight of a federal HIV/AIDS grant.
Clarisa Salinas received her Bachelor of Science in nutrition from the University of the Incarnate Word and is expected to graduate with a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2026.
