Research summary

City leaders have a uniquely powerful set of tools to improve the lives of young families when they center customer experience. This paper illustrates how a service design approach to program development and implementation at the federal level was able to harness collaboration across boundaries that encouraged community innovation and got families the resources they need— and how city leaders can adopt this framework in their communities.
