About the Event

Elizabeth Linos, Emma Bloomberg Associate Professor of Public Policy and Management and Faculty Director of The People Lab, will engage in a conversation with Dan Honig on the topic of motivation and purpose in the public sector. The discussion will focus on how governments can break from the status quo and cultivate a workforce of dedicated, empowered public servants. In “Mission Driven Bureaucrats,” Honig argues that the key to better government lies not in stricter controls and more rigorous oversight but in empowerment and trust.

Registration is required for both in-person and virtual attendance.

In-person event open to all Harvard University ID holders and lunch will be offered.
