Leadership, Labor, and the Future of Work ft. Marty Walsh

Marty Walsh

6:00 p.m. EST
JFK Jr. Forum, Harvard Kennedy School, 79 JFK Street, Cambridge, MA

About the Event

Co-sponsored with the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School, the Taubman Center for State and Local Government, and the Center for Public Leadership

Former mayor of Boston and U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh joins us for a discussion on leadership and the future of work. Drawing on his experience leading a major American city through economic growth, social change, and an unprecedented global pandemic—as well as shaping national labor policy—Walsh will share insights on what it takes to lead in moments of uncertainty and transformation. This discussion will explore how leaders can build resilient organizations, support workers in a rapidly evolving economy, and navigate the shifting dynamics of labor, technology, and workforce development.

Please register with a valid Harvard email address to attend in person. All JFK Jr. Forums are publicly livestreamed on the IOP’s YouTube channel.
