About
Saumya is an experienced systems innovator and budding urbanist, with a focus on working in community to develop a justice-oriented and equitable world. Through her time at the Centre for Public Impact, she has worked on embedding innovation in local governments—training over 25 cities globally in using human-centered design to cultivate cultures of participatory democracy.
Saumya is pursuing a Master in Urban Planning at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University in political science and philosophy. An avid world traveler, she loves to understand the world through new imaginations and perspectives. Find her in local libraries reading science fiction novels, at the center of the dance floor, or in a new country every other month.
