Prior to joining the Bloomberg Center for Cities, Daniella served as Director of Budget and Operations for the NYC Civic Engagement Commission. As one of the first advisors to join the city’s first democratically elected commission, she assisted with the launch of NYC’s first citywide participatory budgeting program while leading fiscal operations for the agency.
Her previous experience includes roles in the New York City Council managing discretionary budgets and participatory budgeting programs for local NYC Council members. Daniella also worked for the mayor’s Office of Management and Budget as an analyst on the Health Task Force, which oversees NYC’s public health budgets.
Daniella has a master’s in public administration in health policy and management with a specialization in public finance from NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and completed a postgraduate administrative fellowship with the South American Institute of Governance in Health. She has held previous positions in political campaigns, advocacy groups, and with the NYC Commission on Human Rights. Daniella holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Latin American studies from Pace University in New York City.
