Impact Assessment & Knowledge Management Specialist, Bloomberg Center for Cities

The Center is seeking an Impact Assessment and Knowledge Management Specialist to help us understand, communicate, and strengthen our impact on the next generation of city leaders. As a member of the Center’s Strategy and Impact team, they will evaluate how the Center’s student offerings—spanning fellowships, internships, research assistantships, and real-world learning in city government—shape student learning, career pathways, and city capacity.

Research Manager, Bloomberg Center for Cities

The Research Manager will be responsible for project management of open calls, leading the coordination of staff and student researchers, managing workflows, and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality research deliverables.

Senior Research Associate, Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative

The Senior Research Associate will take a leading role in co-designing and executing studies aligned with this research agenda, building a field of study at the intersection of organizational behavior, public management, and urban studies, and producing research that generates actionable insights for practitioners and high-impact academic publications.

Service Innovation Fellow, Responsive Cities Network (2-Year Fellowship), Data-Smart City Solutions

The Responsive Cities Network, a newly-formed collaboration between 10 U.S. cities, the Data-Smart City Solutions program, and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, seeks a Service Innovation Fellow to strengthen city capacity for diagnosing and improving service delivery. Working as an embedded member of city government, the Fellow will coordinate cross-departmental teams to identify root causes of service challenges, test data- and AI-enabled solutions, develop tools that make city data more accessible, facilitate city-community partnerships, and enhance analytical capacity. Please note that there are three open positions, as there will be Fellows placed in Philadelphia, San Jose, and Boulder. The application deadline is January 20, 2026.

Research Associate Fellow, The People Lab

Research Associate Fellows at The People Lab work on multiple fast-paced projects, contributing to the design and implementation of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in collaboration with public sector partners, designing and analyzing survey experiments, conducting administrative data analyses, and supporting the publication of academic papers, policy briefs, and more.
