The ReBuild Initiative at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design aims to develop a new approach to urban planning and design focused on transforming the built environment with a focus on sustainability and quality of life for all. ReBuild is an initiative launched by Dean Sarah Whiting and chaired by Maurice Cox, Emma Bloomberg Professor in Residence of Urban Planning and Design. It will accomplish its goal through multi-disciplinary research, engagement with practice, development of new curricular materials, and executive education training for city leaders in close collaboration with the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.

The Research Analyst will report to Professor Cox at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, under the guidance of David Giles, the Curriculum Development Director at the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative.

This position is ideal for highly motivated professionals with prior research experience who are equally committed to rigorous research and socially impactful work. Research Associate Fellows at The People Lab work on multiple fast-paced projects, contributing to the design and implementation of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in collaboration with public sector partners, designing and analyzing survey experiments, conducting administrative data analyses, and supporting the publication of academic papers, policy briefs, and more.

Senior Associate, Administration and Finance, Bloomberg Center for Cities

The Bloomberg Center for Cities seeks to add an organized, detail oriented and collaborative Senior Associate, Administration and Finance. The position reports to the Assistant Director of Administration and Finance and supports the work of initiatives, programs, labs, staff and faculty across the Bloomberg Center for Cities. The position will manage and execute a range of financial and HR administrative responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of the Center and its programs.
