Yamile Nesrala is a writer and editor at the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, where she writes and edits articles, guides, toolkits, case studies, and other teaching materials. She has collaborated with the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative since 2019.

Previously, Yamile led the Miami and Charlotte chapters of Venture for America, a national fellowship program supporting entrepreneurship in American cities. Prior to that role, she oversaw marketing strategy and university outreach for a venture-backed startup focused on student loans, and she managed entrepreneur services for Endeavor, a global nonprofit supporting high-growth companies in emerging markets. Yamile also spent two years working as a consultant and a lawyer, respectively. As a freelance writer and editor, she has helped produce articles, books, white papers, press releases, and website copy about finance, the law, health, remote learning, New York City, and more.

Yamile has a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge.
