About
Keesler Welch has nearly a decade of programmatic, operational, and research experience while interfacing with executive-level teams.
Before joining the Bloomberg Center for Cities, Keesler spent eight years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) supporting their research transparency and reproducibility initiative, helping launch and manage the American Economic Association’s randomized controlled trial registry, and expanding the J-PAL affiliate network. She has conducted field work and convenings in Kathmandu, Nepal and Bangalore, India.
Keesler holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of International Development from The New School.
