About
Elliott Serna is an undergraduate research fellow at The People Lab and a rising junior at Cornell University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in public policy. His studies center on the U.S. administrative state, with a focus on how the micro-level behaviors of public servants shape macro-level policy outcomes. Outside The People Lab, Elliott works as a research assistant to the American Economic Association’s Data Editor, helping to replicate economics articles prior to publication. With interests in machine learning, simulation, and causal inference, he plans to pursue a Ph.D. in the social sciences after completing his undergraduate studies.
