Gauri Nagpal is an urban planner and designer working in the field of international development. She has experience working in cities of the global south facing challenges of persistent inequality, extreme deprivation, and environmental degradation. In her role at the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, she conducts impact evaluations on the progress of 50 cities that have participated in the collaboration track. Gauri holds a master’s degree in urban planning and a master’s in design studies from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She has been an Urban Fellow at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements.
