Ellen Paik is a dual-degree MBA/MPA student at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Harvard Kennedy School. A John F. Kennedy Fellow with a social and urban policy concentration and an MLD Certificate, Ellen hopes to explore the various ways that the built environment can be reshaped to advance equity and accessibility in urban areas. Ellen is a research assistant for Secretary Anthony Foxx and a 2024 Bloomberg Harvard Summer Fellow.

Prior to her graduate studies, Ellen served as the innovation fund manager at New Story, a Y Combinator-backed nonprofit pioneering innovative solutions to combat global homelessness. Before New Story, Ellen was an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs.

Ellen received Bachelor of Arts degrees in economics and sociology from Wesleyan University. In her free time, Ellen can be found rowing with the Harvard Graduate Rowing Team, coaching at F45, or catching Chelsea FC games.
