Derrick Holifield is a dedicated leader in education with a focus on cross-sector partnerships and transformative change. He has previously served as a Superintendent Fellow at Chelsea Public Schools and as a principal in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, where he drove significant improvements in academic achievement and community engagement.
Derrick holds a Master of Public Administration from Cleveland State University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education Leadership at Harvard University. He is passionate about utilizing data-driven solutions and fostering equitable opportunities for students and families.
Outside of work, Derrick enjoys writing and performing poetry, reading, attending live shows and sporting events, spending quality time with family and friends, and engaging with his community through volunteer work.
