Christine Jiang (CJ) is a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School, graduating in May 2025. Her research interests are in compliance carbon markets and climate adaptation solutions. She worked in the Climate Change team in the city of Cape Town as a Bloomberg Harvard Summer Fellow in 2024. Her graduation thesis explores innovative financial instruments to combat coastal erosion risk in Cape Town.
Before HKS, CJ was a consultant in the London office of the Boston Consulting Group. During this time, she was seconded to the UNFCCC High-Level Champions and advised the COP27 Egyptian Presidency on its low-carbon transport initiative. She graduated from the University of Oxford with a first-class degree in history & politics.
