Cassandra Torres Mason is a research assistant for the Culture and Politics project at the Bloomberg Center for Cities. She is supporting Anthony Foxx in the buildout of a center focused on the renewal of democracy through cultural events. She is a current MPA/ID student at the Harvard Kennedy School with an expected graduation date of 2026. She is also an MBA dual degree candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Before attending graduate school, she worked as a consultant at Mastercard Advisors in Mexico City. Cassandra is passionate about financial inclusion, migration and remittances, and how technology can be leveraged to create a more inclusive and equitable world. She holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from Mexico City’s ITAM and was a recipient of a German scholarship for Latin American engineers (DAAD). In her free time, Cassandra enjoys running, exploring new places on foot, and socializing over coffee and beers with friends.
